What People Are Saying:

I’ve been really enjoying the material and I feel like that’s exactly what I needed in my bass journey!

I have not found anything more complete on the subject and available. And I don't sugarcoat it at all.

So far I absolutely love the course. I'm learning so much. The lessons are clear and the video, audio and graphics are very well done. You explain things very well and make it easy to understand with plenty of examples of bass lines and ideas for creating lines, so even a late beginner  jazz bassist, like me,  can understand and start " walking" right away and  I'm able to create lines that sound fantastic. I also appreciate the fact that the course is all about walking, sometimes courses have so much information and various topics that it's hard to make any progress in one area, but I feel that by focusing on just walking you can really go deep , and for me going progressively through the course, so far , jazz theory and "walking" are making a lot more sense now and I'm looking forward to working through the rest of the topics...

Your course stands out to me as being very clear, easy to understand, and easy to follow. I genuinely believe it has the potential to be one of the best jazz double bass courses out there, especially with your personal feedback and honest critique. This program is an incredible resource for all of us and is very helpful in our development as true jazz bass players.

None of the usual BS: “This will make you a killer bassist with this one lesson” ....The course is perfect for an intermediate player like me...Very detailed and good step by step instructions.... think the course is hitting all the things needed for playing basslines... Doesn’t shy away from the fact that this course will take work.... Great that the focus is not on chord/scale theory...I really like the multiple views of left and right hands in the videos. The course is easy to bring up online with multiple devices (iOS, computer). The course is very organized and easy to migrate around to various lessons. Matt is super responsive to everyone posting on the Facebook page. Matt is inclusive to all players at all levels and is very supportive

While I am just finishing up the 1st Mod I can see my own improvement.

I've just watched the first couple of videos on the major blues and the quality of content and the production is very well done, you're a wonderful teacher and communicate musical ideas and concepts in a way (as a beginner) I can understand. I can tell I'm going to really improve with these courses.... Thanks so much Matt!!
